The goal of our free UberCloud CAE Experiments is to perform engineering simulations in the CAE Cloud with real engineering applications in order to understand the roadblocks to success and how to overcome them. Our Compendiums of Case Studies are a way of sharing these results with our broader community of engineers and scientists and their service providers.
UberCloud Compendium #18 features a collection of 10 case studies about automotive simulation projects in the cloud. UberCloud has been approached by engineers in the automotive industry to support their simulations in the areas of vehicle crashes, race car aerodynamics, CFD for intake manifolds, airbag simulations, combustion modeling, side-door intrusion bars, and more.
In this compendium, you will find a collection of 18 Finite Element Analysis (FEA) projects and case studies performed in the last few years. This collection features FEA studies across various industries, including Automotive, Aerospace, Electronics, Life Sciences and examples of using FEA solvers such as Ansys, Abaqus, LS-Dyna, Comsol, and more in the Cloud.
This Ansys Case Studies Compendium is an invaluable resource for engineers, scientists, managers and executives who believe in the strategic importance of Technical Computing as a Service.
You'll find a collection of 26 selected case studies written by the participants of the UberCloud HPC Experiment and featuring Ansys codes such as Fluent, CFX, HFSS, LS-DYNA, Discovery Live, and ESSS Rocky in the cloud.
UberCloud and Advania have helped manufacturers to move (part of) their engineering workload to the Advania Data Centers Cloud.
Advania is a great option for them because of its excellent HPC bare-metal performance and high scalability (up to hundreds of compute cores).
By downloading this compendium, you will get access to a collection of case studies within the life sciences.
These four UberCloud case studies demonstrate the growing acceptance of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) and how a US law firm applied multi-physics building simulations using HPC to prove building defects at a client’s property, a class of ninth-graders in Norway designed and built a flying boat with a novel CAE software, and more...
For this UberCloud Compendium, Exploring GROMACS in the Cloud, we have selected 2 case studies from the Life Sciences, dealing with GROMACS molecular dynamics simulations. In this compendium, you will read the results of the two research teams, their applications, findings, challenges, lessons learned, and recommendations.
